Synopsis
An upcoming exhibition celebrating renowned photographer Isabelle Reed three years after her untimely death brings her eldest son back to the family house — forcing him to spend more time with his father and withdrawn younger brother than he has in years. With the three of them under the same roof, the father Gene tries desperately to connect with his two sons, but they struggle to reconcile their feelings about the wife and mother they remember so differently.

While there are a few prominent releases in that category, the biggest release is Batman: The Killing Joke, which is still a hot mess, but this time on Blu-ray. There are plenty of smaller releases that are worth picking up, including April and the Extraordinary World. Its reviews are nearly 100% positive and the Blu-ray Combo Pack is the Pick of the Week.

It's not a good week for limited releases. Not only is it a short list this week, but none of them look like they will be a hit at the box office. Demolition is the widest release of the week, but it is too wide for a limited release. The Invitation is earning amazing reviews, but it is also playing on Video on Demand. Neon Bull is earning even better reviews, but it is a foreign-language film, so that limits its chances. The rest of the films are not earning strong enough reviews to suggest they will do well in limited release.
