SpongeBob SquarePants: SpongeBob, You're Fired! is a little different than most SpongeBob SquarePants DVDs. It has more than 3 hours of episodes, starting with...
There are no extras on the DVD. Also, some of the episodes are widescreen, but non-anamorphic widescreen.
SpongeBob SquarePants: SpongeBob, You're Fired! is twice as long as the average SpongeBob disc, but at the same price. Granted, half of them appeared on DVDs I've reviewed, so there's a lot of double-dipping here.
The Show
SpongeBob is fired, because Mr. Krabs wants to save a nickel. Squidward is absolutely thrilled, but SpongeBob takes it really hard. Patrick teaches SpingeBob how to be "Funemployed". After that fails, Sandy Cheeks tells him he needs to get a job. But what can he do?
I swear I reviewed this one before, but I can't seem to find the link. SpongeBob and Patrick are are at the Fry Cook museum when they see the Golden Spatula, Neptune's Spatula. When SpongeBob pulls out the spatula, Neptune arrives. At first he doesn't believe SpongeBob is the chosen one, so he challenges him to a cooking duel.
