October 3, 2019
First Love was the only film in the $10,000 Club this weekend earning an average of $10,576 in two theaters.
The next best new limited release was Judy. That film earned an average of $6,313 in 461 theaters. Its opening weekend was nearly $3 million and enough for seventh place on the overall chart. Fritz Lang’s Indian Epic was next with $4,401 in one theater. There were also two films that missed the Mendoza Line, The Gliksmans and The Day Shall Come. The two films earned averages of $974 and $495, respectively; however, both films were playing on VOD, so their theatrical numbers are not important at all.
