Lonely Week for Limited Releases
December 31, 2004
After four films opened on Wednesday, there's a lone release tonight.
Sky Blue - Review
A visual feast and the dark horse for the Best Animated Feature Oscar. The film starts its Oscar qualifying run tonight at the Nu Art movie theater in Los Angeles before its official release in January. Fans of Anime should be eager to check out this South Korean production but it is unlikely to earn much mainstream success.
One last note, Beyond the Sea and Woodsman are expanding this weekend while Wednesday release, In Good Company had an amazing start earning $35,000 on its opening day alone.
