Synopsis
Ruby Love is a recluse hiding in her home, refusing to face the outside world ever since her grandson committed a mass shooting in their small community. Grayson Mitchell, a 16-year-old whose brother was injured during the tragedy, is bullied at school. The two are forced to cross paths when Grayson’s mom, in an attempt to mend her family, persuades Grayson to take a part-time job at a supermarket, where Ruby takes a job as well. Before long, Grayson and Ruby bond, sharing life experiences and help one another heal, ultimately altering the paths of their lives forever.
