Synopsis

From being a political rookie presidential candidate who proudly stood up to Park Chung-hee in 1971, to becoming a death row inmate sentenced to death by Chun Doo-hwan's new military regime in 1980, to achieving the first horizontal regime change in constitutional history in 1997, he overcame the crisis of death five times and entered into a dictatorship.
