Synopsis
A once-peaceful remote country village is under attack—but by who or what, no one knows. Villagers spread rumors of a cursed land, supernatural forces, and even demonic creatures, as the disappearances
and killings continue. Pathologist John McBride arrives to investigate the danger, only to discover something much deeper and more sinister than he ever could have imagined.

Uncharted and Dog are both posting very good numbers over the Presidents Day weekend, lifting the market as a whole over $90 million for the three-day part of the long weekend, and making this the best weekend at the box office so far this year. Uncharted is having the best weekend of 2022 for a single movie, with $44.155 million projected by Sony this morning for Friday–Sunday, and $51 million over the four-day weekend. That beats our Friday-morning prediction of $39.4 million, and Sony’s Friday-morning prediction of $40 million, suggesting that the film is building an audience based on word-of-mouth recommendations.

If Thursday’s preview numbers for Uncharted are anything to go by, Tom Holland is just about the biggest star in the movie business right now. After nine weeks of near-total domination at the box office for Spider-Man: No Way Home, Holland’s new film looks set for an easy win over Presidents Day weekend, with a very good shot of posting the biggest weekend of 2022 so far.
