DVD Releases for June 1, 2004

May 31st, 2004

Every week films get a second chance at success from the home market; or, in some cases, a first chance at success. This was a hugely busy week for DVD releases. Close, but no Cigar

March 31st, 2004

No team could muster $10,000 per theatre this weekend, but two movies came awfully close. Bon Voyage, last week's winner, took top spot with an impressive $9,879 average in 6 theatres. Just $6 behind was Dogville which opened in 9 theatres. More...

Only two films topped $10,000 per theatre this week, but the race was top spot was close enough to make it an interesting weekend on the per theatre charts. Touching the Void remained in first place with $14,837, down just 24% percent from last weekend. In second place with $14,311 was Latter Days. It is particularly interesting to see Latter Days perform so well as Madstone Theaters pulled the from its theatres allegedly due to, 'aesthetic reasons.' More...

Movie Websites Launches for December 19 - December 25

December 24th, 2003

During the past week promotional websites for several movies were launched and some older ones added additional content. Here is an abridged list of highlights, (including the winner for the week, Peter Pan - Official Site) plus one last look at websites for films opening this week. This week's list is abridged due to the holidays. Next week's will probably be the same, but it will return to normal in the New Year. If you know of any new movie websites not on this list feel free to e-mail me with the details. More...
