DVD Sales: New Releases Have True Grit

June 21st, 2011

There were seven new releases on this week's DVD Sales Chart, and six of those reached the top ten. Leading the way was True Grit with 1.02 million units / $15.91 million during its opening week on the home market. It is already in 30th place for 2011 and should quickly climb much further up. 2010 - Holiday Gift Guide - Part IV

December 17th, 2010

The final installment of our Holiday Gift Guide is here. This week we look at everything else, including a few that I missed before. This will be far less organized than previous installments, which is saying something. However, at this point, with just a week until Christmas, we are getting close to panic levels when it comes to shopping. More...

DVD and Blu-ray Releases for December 14th, 2010

As far as its competition is concerned, there are two main releases vying for that title: The Quintessential Guy Maddin! on DVD and The Town on Blu-ray. Despite my well-documented pro-Canada bias, I'm giving it to the latter. More...
