Synopsis
Liz, a successful author arrives at a beach in the magical Sinai Desert in search of her runaway daughter Rachel. After finding her daughter they stay at the beach meeting with a Bedouin storyteller. It is here that she learns of the unusual love story of Leila, an Israeli tourist and Najim, the son of a Bedouin Sheik. This extraordinary love story, that took place many years before on the same exotic beach, follows the tragic decision by Najim to bring Leila into his Muslim tribe where Leila is exposed to a traumatic tradition that shatters their love. Captivated by the love story, Rachel soon learns surprising facts about her mother's life.
