Plot Details: This review reveals minor details about the movie's plot
This is another one we were lucky enough to see at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin last year.
The film was very popular: we had to stand in long lines, and every show sold out.
I think we finally got into it for the final showing, a midnight show, and Ms. Chong was present for Q&A afterwards.
It was a frank and direct look at her life as a porn star and the dubious one-time record holder of the most "bangs" in a day.
It was an honest look at her family's reaction to discovering her secret occupation and how that affected her.
The film also offered some insight into what its like to work in the professional sex business.
Ms. Chong made some weak comments about how her performing in this genre furthered women's liberation.
Well, I am not against skin flicks for people who enjoy them, but let's not try to make them noble, okay?
This was interesting enough but I don't know whether I would have gone to all the trouble to see it knowing what I know now.
It's a quality indie documentary that does a good job of showing you a slice of the life of a person with an unusual occupation.
Too bad she's such a shallow person.
Tough call! What the heck, go see it at a bargain show if you can.
